Ficta presents the Catalan choral music at the Tallinn Europa Cantat Festival

FICTA edicions, the Catalan music publisher devoted to choral music, will be present at the main European choral event promoting the music of its catalogue: Catalan music of new creation and works recuperated from the past composed by the greatest Catalan composers of all times.

In addition to having its stand at the fair that takes place in the framework of this great international choral event, FICTA will offer a presentation for conductors and composers on July 29 at 10:30 at the University of Tallinn (Narva mnt 25). In this presentation Josep Vila i Casañas will introduce his latest production, specially the Misa Sagrada Familia that almost 4000 singers have premiered in this Barcelonian temple last week and the Five folk songs that he has written for upper voices and piano and commissioned by Festival Europa Cantat that will be premiered in Tallinn at the closing concert of the festival.

The festival will feature the presence of Josep Vila i Jover (director of the VES Children's Choir of Granollers) as attelier conductor, the National Youth Choir of Catalonia that will offer several concerts and a delegation of about 200 choristers who will participate in this festival that will gather more than 3000 people from all over the world.

It will be an unbeatable framework to promote and internationalize our music.
